We are in great need of shelf stable food items such as Mac and cheese, canned fruits, veggies and tomatoes, dry pasta and beans, etc. Your donation would act in much the same way. Come to the food pantry and just drive into the parking lot… Call 630.469.6988 ... And we will come outside and retrieve your food so you too will be able to avoid entering inside the building. we are accepting donations between 9 am - 1 pm Monday through Friday. Food Drives

Anyone can have a Food drive

Having your own food drive for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is a great way to help.  Each year, many organizations organize fun and creative events to collect food for our Pantry … a teacher eating a cicada when school kids collected food to the ceiling in the gymnasium … a Principal dying his hair green when the students met their goals for their annual food collection … pizza parties for the most food collected in a classroom.  The ideas are endless!

Contact us at (630)469-8668 to discuss how you, your school or your organization can help our Food Pantry with a food drive event!

Volunteer

We simply could not do what we do without the unwavering support of our over 400 volunteers who work tirelessly 5 days per week to help us MAKE HUNGER HISTORY in our community.  Stop by … come see us in action … We would love to have you part of our volunteer team!

Funding

Financial Support

Last year, our Pantry distributed 750,000 pounds of food and served 31,000 individuals. This year is looking to experience the same demand from our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. We rely on support from our member churches, individuals, community organizations and local businesses to meet this need.
