Ways to Participate

You Can Make a Difference!

Financial Support

In 2021, the Pantry served 5,470 neighbors at risk of hunger with 761,000 pounds of food including fresh produce, meat, dairy, bread, and other groceries. We rely on support from our member churches, individuals, community organizations and local businesses to meet the growing need for our services.

Volunteer

We simply could not do what we do without the unwavering support of our over 400 volunteers who work tirelessly 5 days per week to help us MAKE HUNGER HISTORY in our community.  Stop by … see us in action … We would love to have you part of our volunteer team!

Food Drives

Anyone can have a Food Drive.

Having your own food drive for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is a great way to help.  Each year, many organizations organize fun and creative events to collect food for our Pantry. For their birthday party, children ask for food donations instead of birthday present … a teacher eating a cicada when school kids collected food to the ceiling in the gymnasium … a principal dying his hair green when the students met their goals for their annual food collection … pizza parties for the most food collected in a classroom.  The ideas are endless!

Contact us at (630) 469-6988 to discuss how you, your school or your organization can help our Pantry with a food drive event!
